Our Sermon Text take from Genesis Chapter 15, Verses 12 – 14

As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a trance and the thick and dreadful darkness came over him. Then the Lord said to him, “No for certain that for 400 years, your descendants will be strangers in a country not their on. They will be enslaved and mistreated there for 400 years. But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, Afterward they will come out with great possessions.” Let us pray.

De Sun Do Move

Jesus we will never forget what you’ve done for us. Jesus we will never forget how you brought us through. Jesus we will never forget how you’re saving now. Jesus we will never forget -no never- rebuke the devil. The devil wants us to be hopeless; the devil wants us to be filled with doubt; the devil wants us to be fighting each other, finding fault with each other, criticizing each other and bringing each other down instead of holding each other up.

I rebuke the devil gracious God. Have mercy on us. Have mercy upon our human nature ‘cuz we are prone to wander. Lord, we feel it. Prone to leave the God we love. Take our hearts Lord and seal them. Seal them in your courts above. Grant us the hearing and the celebration through Christ Our Lord amen. …

Faith, hope and love

It is a church in the neighborhood that shows faith, hope and love in action all over the world. I love Easter Hill and pray that the work we do will continue forever.
